Zoella is a common topic of the internet these days and it all seems to be criticism. As a fan myself, I cannot see how she is subdued to hate and abuse online. She has a very full on job which many do not realise takes up the entirety of her day and sometimes night thus I do not understand why she is criticised when she decides to have a break. If people working 9 - 5 jobs are allowed a holiday, why isn't she ?

I feel that daily vloggers such as Zoella do not get the credit they deserve. As Zoe Sugg is a sufferer of anxiety, I feel she has helped many to deal with this illness themselves by dedicating whole videos to the topic and also replying to many sufferers in the comments. She has been put forward as someone who can 'Sell your daughter anything' which clearly does not make her seem like someone who is helping the younger generation become comfortable in their skin, as I view her to be. Instead i see her as someone that little girls aspire to be, however why does this seem to scare parents? I believe, as the internet has only just become a growing industry in terms of jobs, they do not see vlogging as a wise career choice but this is not what Zoe intends to communicate. Instead she is giving girls simple styling and make up tips which they search for and intend to find all while telling the girls that it is okay to not wear make up while talking about taking care of your skin. This is not due to her vanity that many of her videos are around this subject base but is due to the growing obsession with looks. This is a hobby for her as singing would be for others and should not be something she should have to stop due to hate or bad comments.

Zoella, a fun and misunderstood 24 year old should be allowed to use her YouTube page as a space where she can express her interests and passions freely as this is what YouTube intended when it all started.
